Before we get to the return policy, here are a few important tid bits:

Instructions for Use:

Soaps: I think soap usage is pretty self explanatory. Lather up and wash up! I mean it, USE MY SOAPS! I know some seem too pretty to use but you will simply love them and I will always be making more. Please please, my soaps are meant to be used because your skin will love it!

Try not to get it in your eyes because that will sting like the dickens, like all other soaps in the world. Please do not eat my soap because it just does not taste all that great. For my salt bars, I recommend avoiding your sensitive and/or private areas.

My soaps do not contain any detergents or de-scumming chemicals. Sometimes that can leave a little bit of residue in your bath or shower. This is not a bad thing, it is the result of using a handmade product without toxic chemicals.

Loofah Soaps: This is a quote from healthcare online:

Health experts typically recommend that you exfoliate the body two to three times each week. If you have sensitive skin, make a point of exfoliating less often. You should not have to scrub very hard or very often to get the dead skin cells off.

In addition, once my soap is gone from the loofah, time to throw it out! It is exfoliating your dead skin and guess where it is building up? Yep, in that wee piece of loofah. Once the soap is used up, time to buy a new one! *wink*

Soap Storage: If you are not yet using the soap, store in a dry place, a closet etc. In the shower or tub, store your soap out of the stream of the shower head or bath spigot . If it is getting splashed or wet when not in use, it will not last as long. I highly recommend a soap dish that lets air flow under the soap so it can fully dry between uses.

Face/Body Scrubs: Apply desired amount to wet skin and gently exfoliate using circular motions. Great to use on dry areas such as elbows, heals and feet. Rinse off with warm water. Avoid using on sensitive/private parts, irritated skin, cuts and scrapes. Some scrubs can make the tub/shower very slick so please use with care.

Lotions/Creams: The basics apply here, use externally. Please don't ingest my lotions/creams, your insides are moisturized enough! But if you need more details on how to use lotion, here ya go!

For facial lotions - Dab moisturizer on face and then gently and evenly spread moisturizer on your face and neck in upward and outward movements. Avoid eye area.

For Body lotions/creams - Use lotion daily to soften, smooth, and moisturize. For best results, massage product onto slightly damp skin just after bathing. For external use only.

A Wee Disclaimer:
Many of our products are made with nut oils (almond oil) or come in contact with surfaces that have been exposed to nut oils (almond oil). If you have nut allergies, please read the ingredients listing before purchasing.

I also soap in an area that three dogs and a cat wander into. If you have extreme, extreme pet allergies this might be something you should be aware of. They do not lay on my soaping surface or anything, just wander around my feet as I am soaping, looking rather confused and overwhelmed by scents.

With any bath and body product you use, if you develop any sensitivity, redness or burning, please discontinue use. Even natural products can cause allergies in certain individuals. We are all made differently, listen to your body!
